Community rules
These rules exist to keep this forum a safe, respectful, and constructive space for everyone. Participation in this community means you agree to abide by them.
Required conductBe respectful and civil
Treat all members with courtesy. Disagreement is welcome — personal attacks are not. Critique ideas, not people. Keep your tone constructive even when you strongly disagree with someone’s position.
RequiredStay on topic
Keep discussions relevant to the thread subject. Derailing conversations, excessive off-topic posting, or cluttering threads with unrelated content disrupts the community. Use the appropriate section for your post.
This Is RequiredProhibited behavior
No abuse or harassment
Abusive language, threats, intimidation, or targeted harassment toward any member — including via private messages — will not be tolerated. This includes hate speech based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
Zero tolerance
No bullying or targeted attacksRepeatedly singling out a member for ridicule, coordinated pile-ons, public shaming, or any behaviour intended to drive someone out of the community is strictly prohibited. This applies whether the conduct is overt or subtle.
Zero tolerance
No inflammatory or provocative postingDeliberately inflammatory posts, excessive arguing for the sake of argument (“trolling”), and bad-faith engagement are not welcome. If you find yourself inflaming a situation, step away and re-engage when you can do so constructively.
No spam or unsolicited promotion
Posting repetitive content, advertising without approval, or flooding threads with irrelevant links is prohibited. Self-promotion is only permitted where the forum specifically allows it.
Protect others’ privacy
Do not share personal information about other members without their explicit consent. “Doxxing” — publishing private details such as addresses, phone numbers, or workplaces to harass or intimidate — will result in immediate removal.
Zero toleranceEnforcement
Moderators may remove content, issue warnings, or restrict access at their discretion. Repeated or severe violations result in escalating action.
1 · Warning 2 · Temporary suspension 3 · Permanent ban
To report a violation contact the moderation team directly. All reports are reviewed confidentially and the resulting determination will be shared among both parties for clarity.
Last Rule and Only Warning
Have Fun!
This forum, as is the website that contains it, is built with the idea that we enjoy our hobby, and enjoy our group of folks who have gravitated toward one another. This doesn’t mean we will always agree, but we can always agree to disagreee when it happens. If you wouldn’t say it to a spouse or family member, the best decision would probably be not to say it at all, even in written form and with internet anonymity. We’re here to help, and if we have an answer to any question, we will always provide it for free. There is no section of this website that is built for a profit, unless it is specifically designated as such. We will not charge you for the information you see here. If anyone is trying to charge you for any aspect of information or item that you find on this website, please let us know and we will address the matter, as the tutorials are meant to get you up to speed with our group. The For Sale section of this forum is the only acceptable place to present to others any item or service provided for monetary exchange. Any other links, offers or advertisements that are not officially part of a recommendation from The Zoo 2 that are posted anywhere other than the For Sale category will be removed at the sole discretion of The Zoo 2 moderators and/or staff.
Please continue to have fun and we hope to catch you on the air!
